Vinegar Magic

I keep coming across references to vinegar in my kitchen notebooks.

For example, in my last restaurant we didn't use one of those expensive finishing liquids in the dishwasher, we used white vinegar instead. Everything came out sparkling clean. Try it and save a few dollars. If you are worried that you can't see the liquid level through that little window, add a couple of drops of food dye.

You can use vinegar to neutralize jelly fish stings, in fact it's a recommended first aid treatment, and it will also take the sting out of sunburn.
