  • Asparagus soup
Making soup from asparagus is one of those things most people will shy away from. It seems too complicated - so let's cheat a little!
  • Asparagus With Ginger
Asparagus recipes are usually about steaming or boiling. This method takes a little more effort but the result is worth it and makes for an unusual side dish. It will also give you a bit of excercise
  • Asparagus With Lemon Butter
Lemon butter is one of my favorite ways of saucing a dish. Here I offer a quick and easy method of using it with asparagus, and as an added bonus the whole thing is cooked in the microwave.
  • Asparagus With Paper Bark Hollandaise
In this recipe Aussie chef Benjamin Christie has added Paperbark Smoke Oil to a basic hollandaise sauce for a subtle smokey flavour. It’s great served with freshly steamed asparagus
  • Asparagus With Tarragon
Microwaves were probably invented just to cook asparagus. Certainly they do an excellent job of it. Here I’ve added a tarragon flavored cream.
  • Asparagus With Yogurt
This is an Eastern European asparagus dish, and there’s a very good chance that the yogurt was originally made from yak’s milk. I wish you luck in trying to reproduce that!
  • Steamed Asparagus
Steamed asparagus retains its color and practically all its nutirents. Once cooked its ready to use in fresh salads, pasta and even as a pizza topping. Of course you can also eat it as an appetizer
  • Stir Fried Asparagus
Asparagus lends itself quite well to being stir fried and makes a good accompanying dish to a meal based on Asian flavors. The sesame seeds add a bit of character, which you can further enhance by using a few drops of sesame oil in the cooking process
