Fish Sticking to the Barbie
Fish such as salmon and tuna steaks have a nasty habit of sticking to the barbecue grill. It makes a mess and spoils the appearance of your finished recipe.
One way to avoid this is to wipe the fish steaks all over with olive oil and rub the grill with the cut side of a potato before heating it. The starch in the potato acts with the thin film of oil to form a non-stick surface.
Be sure to heat the grill thoroughly before adding the fish.
