Decorating With Cabbage
Dinner parties are fun and it’s always nice to have something a little different on the table. Like a cabbage bowl for the potatoes, for instance.
To make it, use a sharp knife to carefully remove the globe of a cabbage from its outside leaves, so that they remain in one piece. Wash and steam them for about five minutes, then plunge into iced water.
When you are ready to use it, carefully drain and dry the case, then use it to line a serving bowl of about the same size.
Simple. Very effective.
