Braised Chicken Recipes
Braising chicken really means cooking it in a
small amount of liquid. So your finished dish
is not a stew or casserole, but is a kind of
close cousin.
Aussie Chicken Broth
This chicken broth recipe reflects the diverse nature of
Australian cuisine, drawing on the ingredients of
different cultures and including a unique Aussie flavor
into the bargain
Bourride of Chicken
Bourride is a lobster and fish soup which is thickened
with garlic mayonnaise. But you can also use the same
method to cook chicken and the flavor is amazing
Chicken Vermouth
This is a great chicken dish to cook while you are
mixing your (very) dry martinis. The recipe will use up a
fair bit of your vermouth and you could always chuck a
handful of olives in for good measure
Chicken With Cashews
This is a light chicken curry recipe that you can make
easily and quickly in a wok, a saucepan or even in the
microwave. Most of the ingredients you will probably
have in your store cupboard

Ideally you would use fresh figs as the main ingredient
in this chicken recipe, but they are seasonal so I've
suggested using preserved ones despite the loss in
flavor. If you do use fresh, the preparation and cooking
is exactly the same

exotic, tastes wonderful and can be cooked by anyone.
