This is a cauliflower recipe for two people but could easily be expanded for four or more. It’s very
quick, and would make a handy family supper dish.
You need:
Half a medium cauliflower, cut into florets
100g of smoked bacon
100ml of cream
A handful of chopped parsley.
Dice the bacon and fry it in a very little oil or butter.
Cook the cauliflower in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Drain it thoroughly and add it to the pan with the bacon. Stir in the cream,
season with salt and pepper and heat through.
Add the parsley and allow the dish to simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring carefully from time to time.
