My name is Michael Sheridan and I own this and several other
websites all of which revolve around the central theme of food
in all its aspects.
As a professional chef, I have a deep and abiding
interest not just in what we eat and how we prepare it, but
also on the effects it has on us, both good and bad, and what
we can do to increase our enjoyment of this most fundamental of
human activities. After all, everyone has to eat.
As a result, what started out as a simple cooking site has
grown into an entire colony that embraces everything from basic
recipes to dealing with obesity and the negative aspects of
over-indulging in our favorite foods. And it’s still
growing.
From hygiene in the kitchen, through
first aid for cooks to articles and
advice on acid reflux, diabetes
and the like, I have tried to cover as wide a range of
subjects as I can that are likely to be of interest to cooks
